A Little About Us

Chris Elder started building custom homes in the Texas hill country in 2002.  Over the years he has refined processes, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve a high quality product. Chris Elder Homes has built over 130 Custom Homes in Central Texas, along with multiple home remodels and additions. Chris and his team are committed to customer service throughout the building process and through the warranty period. Chris Elder builds homes tailored specifically to the needs of his clients along with building homes that are speculative  – listing on the market once they are completed. 

Chris received his  BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in 1998 before moving to Austin to start his family.

Chris’ wife Wendy is responsible for the Sales side of the business. She has held her Real Estate License since 1997 and is a very active Realtor with Compass Realty (previously with Keller Williams). 

Wendy also graduated from The University of North Texas obtaining her BBA in Business / Real Estate in 1997. Wendy immediately launched a prosperous career in Austin’s commercial real estate industry working with both large and small companies. After Chris started Chris Elder Homes Wendy changed her focus to Residential Real Estate and began selling his homes exclusively. While vastly growing her expertise in residential real estate, she gained extensive knowledge of many Austin communities including Circle C, Dripping Springs, Steiner Ranch and the Lake Travis and Lakeway areas of Austin. As people continue to flock to the beautiful city of Austin for exceptional jobs, highly ranked schools and fantastic weather, Wendy is fully equipped with 23 years of real estate knowledge and is ready to help them find their ideal home.
